Help us act together now to ensure the Thessaly Oasis space (SW8) is not taken out of public access, that it no longer lies under-maintained, and stays open to everybody.

Please give £2, £20, or more, now, first towards volunteer insurance and legal help, for this space to better serve the community.

Monies will be used towards setting up as a community-led organisation to seek the best future for this site owned by the public (all of us). This is entirely a not-for-profit activity, with no commercial interest, focussed on serving all who could benefit from improvements at Thessaly Oasis space, SW8.

Your contributions will go towards things like liability insurance, legal help and essential materials e.g. for clean-ups around the site.

Did you know that the Thessaly Oasis Space:
> Is publicly owned by Wandsworth but is located within the borough of Lambeth.
> Is listed in the Lambeth Open Space Strategy (20014) as a Local Park with Unrestricted Access
> Is listed on the Mayor of London’s Green Spaces Map as a Recreation Ground.
> London Borough of Wandsworth have not adequately maintained this site since it was handed to them in 2004 and in July 2016 they added padlocks to the site in effort to further restrict public access reduce community value in spite of its public status having unrestricted access. > LBW are keen to build housing on the site, without consulting openly or considering the wide range of options available.
