    Story

I am raising money for Fr John Luke Gregory who is leading the work on the Islands of Rhodes & Kos to support young children & their families who fled by boat to escape the crisis - the focus is on the educational and psychological support required by these children to help them to get over the trauma they have experienced. Steven (Father John Luke) and I trained with together at the London Hospital - Steven is now a Franciscan priest in Rhodes and Kos and is supporting a growing number of children and their families who have fled the war in Syria. If you could help in any way that would be amazing.

Fr John Luke messaged me yesterday - he had asked the children what they would like their friends in England to send them - they asked for felt tip pens and colouring books and if we could send sweets that would be great - no computer games or iphones just very simple things - so any support you can give will go towards buying these items from their wish list - thank you

Thank you for your support - we have sent the final funds raised to Fr John Luke for winter supplies such as warm blankets and jumpers (and Christmas treats) for the children.
