Aaron James Cobain Smith

On 23.11.2023, Aaron was involved in a road traffic accident with a car whilst on this motorbike on the A61 through Worsbrough, Barnsley. When the accident occurred Aaron was taken to Sheffield Northern General Hospital and was put into an induced coma, unfortunately during this time he passed away. He was 25 years old.

Aaron was proud to be on the donor list and he will be in theatre today, 24.11.2023 where his organs will be transplanted into very ill patients with the hope he will live on within them and give them a new lease of life.

His Auntie Claire had these words to say:

"My darling nephew, you had a heart of gold. Always helping me and anyone you could. Your Mum and Dad Jayne and Andy, are so proud of the lovely man you have grown to be, your wicked sense of humour, and very kind heart. You should be with us all now, living your life to the full like you always did.

You will be in our hearts forever...sleep tight Aaron James Cobain Smith (AJ) we love you and we always will and thank you touching our hearts."

Aaron leaves many friends and family who loved him very much, especially his son, Oliver (OJ) who is only 8 years old and his beloved girlfriend Hannah.

The funds raised will go towards his funeral which will be a celebration of his life and a savings account for his young son, in memory of his Dad.
