They're here! our first batch of UK native plants have arrived and are now getting planted in area 1 of the tunnel. We have also decided to add in a local wildflower the ”Nottingham catchfly". This plant used to be very common growing on the walls of Nottingham castle. There is a volunteer project to reintroduce the flower, so fingers crossed we can help by getting this local celebrity established along with the other species of wildflowers. A big thanks to all our supporters and we will be updating you again in the month ahead.

We have started to clear the area in the Park Tunnel & have rid the strips of the weeds. Action now means that these strips could lie fallow until October so any summer self seeded weeds can grow and then be removed prior to planting plugs in October.
