The Great School Run 2026 at Stonor Park · 17 May 2026

We're so excited to announce that The Great School Run of Henley at Stonor Park is back in its fifth year!

This isn’t your typical school run - the rushed dash from home to the classroom. Instead, the Great School Run is all about community spirit and the joy of running. Please visit https://thegreatschoolrun.org for more info and to register. Entry is free and everyone is welcome.

This year, as well as enjoying the day, we hope to raise awareness of Duchenne muscular dystrophy and to support Ben, a very special and much loved local 12-year-old boy in our community who lives with the condition.

By learning more about Duchenne, we can better understand the challenges children like Ben and their families face each day. Awareness leads to understanding, and understanding leads to support. Watch Ben's video below to get a glimpse of his everyday life.

If you are taking part in The Great School Run, we suggest a donation of £2 per race entry, or whatever you would like to give. The money raised will go towards Ben's fund supporting him in his everyday life and helping him pursue the small dreams and experiences that mean so much.
