Story
It is with great sadness that we heard that Professor Simon Frostick, Orthopaedic Professor at The University of Liverpool and Liverpool University Hospitals has lost his long fight with cancer. For those of you who knew him you might wish to read and share tributes to him and memories of him on a website set up by his family using the following link:
https://simon-frostick.muchloved.com
In 2019 his friends and colleagues in The Liverpool Upper Limb Unit established a foundation to support initiatives aimed to improve orthopaedic care in Liverpool; funding education, research, and indeed any project that may improve patient experiences. The foundation, named in Simon’s honour is currently seeking charitable status. Information about the foundation can be found on its website.
https://www.thefrostickfoundation.org
Simon was pleased that he lived to see the inception of the foundation; agreed with its aims and objectives; approved of the website and was proud that his endeavours and his legacy would continue in its work. His family would be grateful that anyone who wishes to make a donation in his honour and memory do so through this crowdfunding page. If there is an issue donating please contact us and we will supply bank details if required.

Truly saddened, I was a patient of Prof’s- being an EDS patient, this man gave me a chance when no other surgeon would, year after year, op after op. A true gentlemen and genius. May you rest in peace
