I've raised £2000 to fund The Floral Flat White

The Floral Flat White
Welcome to this non-profit initiative 'The Floral Flat White', our goal is to boost the morale of Key Workers during COVID-19 by sending them donation-funded bouquets of flowers to show Britain's appreciation for all the hard-work they are doing.
My name is Fiona, I have set up 'The Floral Flat White' as a non-profit initiative using British flower growers so supporting the UK economy during this time. I have minimal work due to the collapse in the events industry so this is my way to utilise my spare time and show the country my appreciation.
As we are now staying at home, we may feel helpless in the fight against COVID-19, so we have created an initiative that will allow you to show your support for and lift the spirits of Key Workers from the safety of your own home.
How can you help? Now we’re working from or simply staying at home, we have stopped buying our daily coffee fix on our commute, so how about ordering a ‘Floral Flat White’ instead and donate £3.00 towards a bunch of flowers for Key Workers in London? Simply donate your daily coffee spend and send morale boosting flowers to Key Workers.
In this challenging time, our aim is to bring positivity and enhance mental health! Most Key Workers are working so hard they may not have time to do their daily exercise, enjoy nature or take time to relax. We can bring nature to them, to show them we are thankful and they are appreciated - that kindness to strangers exists and gives them hope. Our hope is that your donation goes directly to putting a smile on their face.
This is a non-profit initiative - we will buy the flowers at cost price and send a floral bouquet to Key Workers based in London to say thank you for their ongoing hard-work and fight against the virus. NHS workers, cleaners, shop workers - anyone who falls under the Key Worker list is eligible to receive a bouquet! We will gather the donations and then start sending out bouquets as soon as we receive enough! We want to send them a huge thank you from the people of Britain – so let’s come together and help each other as much as we can!
If 5 people donate their daily coffee spend of £3.00 we can send one Key Worker a floral bouquet, the more donations we receive the more we will send! Once we have enough donations we will ask for nominations of Key Workers based in London and we will randomly select and send out the bouquets.
Flowers are proven to have beautiful powers - they stimulate dopamine and oxytocin in the brain, which sets off happy vibes and a feeling of group solidarity - incredibly important at a time like this. Flowers represent hope and a sign of growth, a positive encouragement to land on a doorstep during this time.
If at any point, we are unable to deliver flowers due to further government restrictions we will donate all remaining donations to a UK based charity.
Thank you!
Fiona
