Story

In 2015, Ben was induced into a coma following a work accident on his family farm. Over a year later, he was awake and able to breathe for himself. Since then, making steady progress, he was still heavily restricted with his movements and unable to speak. Since out of the coma, Ben was under around-the-clock care of the St Lukes Hospice and Marrilac neurological care center.

The organisations have welcomed Ben and many others to ensure they receive the friendliest help possible. Since Ben's arrival there he always laughed, despite everything.

You don’t need to have experience of a situation like this to understand the impact this has had on Ben’s family and friends. Having somewhere to visit such as the Marrilac makes the situation all the more easier to deal with and without them it would not be the same.

It is for this reason this page has been created. Ben has always been one for whacky ideas, hence the Fastest Wheelie Bin challenge. All money raised will be donated to keeping the fantastic care they provide going, and giving people in similar situations the support they so desperately require.

Every pound towards @thefastestbin goes straight to helping Ben and his care, thankyou.

Thankyou in advance for anything you can pledge.
