As most of you will know in September 2018 Helen Arber fulfilled her dream and opened The Billericay Theatre. It is clear from Facebook reviews the Theatre is loved by our community and today we heard the devastating news that it would have to shut its doors once again as we are entering Tier 3. Helen and the whole team have worked endlessly and tirelessly to produce yet another fantastic Christmas Panto which will now have to be cancelled.

All Theatres have massively struggled during this pandemic but at the time of writing this The Billericay Theatre has still not received any grant award from the Arts Council despite the massive £1.3 billion provided to The Arts by the Government. Numerous other theatres have which has enabled them to remain closed but as The Billericay Theatre has not Helen put everything into Panto to keep The Billericay Theatre afloat.

We are asking all the lovely people of Billericay to help save The Theatre by donating whatever they can.
