The Big Time, a play by North East writer Wayne Miller has been chosen for a slot at this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Arts funding does not cover projects like this. New theatre isn't supported in the arts as much as it should. Having a play run for 4 weeks in Edinburgh is very costly. We have part funding thanks to a producer but we are 10% away from what we need.So we have a fundraising night arranged and are hoping for a little donation support to help New Writing in theatre .
