On Saturday 25th Feb at 12:48pm, Jess gave birth to our little girl, Thea James Clarke. She weighed 1lb 8oz.

There were lots of complications on top of being born 15 weeks early and she sadly passed on Sunday 26th Feb at exactly 1am after a 12 hour fight to stay with us.

We’re both devastated. But we got to spend as much time as a family as we could. We have the most perfect little girl, she just arrived a little too early.

The NeoNatal unit of the Ulster hospital who have soo delicately guided us though the worst days of either of our lives, we want to thank them for the kindness and compassion they showed not just us, but also Thea. Even when she was no longer with us, the treated her with such love and respect. They have taken such extraordinary care of us.
