I've raised £2500 to launch The Zohar Dean Trust, enabling other young people to have enriching experiences in Zohar's memory.

The Zohar Dean Trust was set up in memory of Zohar who passed away on the 1st June 2022, aged 22. Zohar, whose name quite literally translates to brightest spark, was exactly that. A beautiful young man who said yes to any new experience life had to offer. He grabbed life with both hands, and in doing so, he impacted and inspired everyone he met. The Zohar Dean Trust therefore has one primary aim; to ensure that his impact does not stop just because he left us before his time. The Trust aims to raise funds to ensure that other young people are able to have new, enriching experiences, by supporting causes that were close to Zohar’s heart, in his memory.
The Founding Trustees are Martha Slater, Rosa Slater and Adam Aradi, and a committee of his family and closest friends is being formed to make decisions about the future of the Trust’s direction. Our logo was designed by Sophie Leapman and drawn by Nadir Collins, Zohar’s younger brother. The star in replace of an A represents the continued light he has on all of our lives, as well as an acknowledgement for his love of astronomy and physics. We are looking forward to seeing the impact that this Trust will have, and hope as many of you as possible can support us on this endeavour. All funds raised will go directly to charitable causes.
