Hi I'm Michael and I am one of the founding members of The Crumlin Model Railway Club which formed in 2014 and is based in Crumlin (NI). Originally the club was based in one of our members homes while a more permanent set up was sourced.

In Autumn 2019 the Crumlin's Men Shed was launched and they kindly provided us with an allocated a much needed space for the club to be held each week.

Since then, we have undergone the task of building our club layout. This process has been a labour of love and the outcome will be a fantastic layout that can be shared with the general public, in particular our local community and hopefully to future members in the various model railway exhibitions in Northern Ireland and if possible the clubhouse itself in the form of open days!

The layout and materials, resources etc required are large and we really require a purpose built shed to be made which could house these goods and become a clubroom for our members.

We are a group of individuals of varying ages that have a passion for all things model railway and our hobby provides us some much needed relief from everyday life and an opportunity to further develop our skills and knowledge in this area. Any donation you could make to allow us to continue with our work would be greatly appreciated.
