Story
As so many of you are very aware, our second Daughter Florrie Ellis Joy McKessick joined the world on 12th March 2019 at 14.58pm weighing a quite impressive 5lb 2ozs for being 7 weeks early. Despite Florrie’s good weight for being premature she was a very sick baby, a baby we were told had only a matter of hours to live.
But after a rollercoaster 2019, spending March until August in Hospital in Belfast before being transferred closer to home to the Causeway Hospital in September where she spent a month before finally coming home in October.
We now want to give back to those to helped us - And we are going right back to the start of our journey and our days in Neonatal, the care Florrie received was exceptional, we will never forget what they done for our little miracle, there were some days when nothing was going right for Florrie and her health but never once did the amazing Staff of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit give up on Florrie or us her family.
Now is our time to say thank-you, or at least try!
