A Global Pandemic Hit. The Entire City Went Into Lockdown. We Didn't Know What Would Happen Next. Then There Were The Key Workers - The Ones Who Continued To Be Strong For Those Who Couldn't.

Opium, Oiishi (East Kilbride) & China Gourmet (Springburn) have been supporting different communities since the start of lockdown through our food donations to those who need it. A particular area that didn't receive as much support as a whole were carers at nursing and care homes.

We're now collaborating with the Chief Nurse and staff at Glasgow Royal Infirmary Hospital who are creating pamper packs to the staff at nursing/care homes. This includes products from local companies like hand sanitisers, gels and creams. These are perfect after wearing a full day of PPE like face masks and gloves which can cause skin damage, overheating and reactions.

So far, packs have already been received well in the North and East of the city. This page is dedicated to extending these packs to contribute across the city.
