Growing up with a disability was difficult. Being a young child wanting to lead a normal life has many obstacles I've been there and it can be very challenging for families with disabled children .
Wheelchair basketball changed my life it made me feel good about myself and every time I sat in that chair it put a smile on my face.
No longer did I have one leg, no longer was I disabled I was a young kid having fun with not a care in the world .
I was very lucky as a 12 year old receiving a new sports wheelchair and without my first wheelchair I would never of gone on to represent my country at Paralympic level winning Paralympic medals and becoming a World Champion .
I would like to raise enough funds to be able to provide 2 children a sporting wheelchair this Christmas so they can go on and start there own sporting journey , meet many friends along the way and maybe one day represent their country as a disabled athlete .
This will be a complete surprise for 2 young disabled children .
Please help me reach my target and surprise 2 children this Christmas .
