Tendring Cricket Club is a community based club that promotes the enjoyment of cricket at all levels, from grass roots youth teams through to our league team.

During 2019 whilst playing a local team in Dedham, one of the cricketers on the field collapsed suffering a heart attack. Thanks to the quick response of our first aider and an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) at hand the patient was able to be resuscitated and kept alive. The player, who was airlifted to a local hospital, went on to make a full recovery.

Tendring Cricket Club does not have an AED device, and we are asking for you to help raise funds to allow us to purchase, install and maintain this life saving equipment at our pavilion. We hope never to have to use it, but if we do we know how important it is to have it at hand.
