Story

Team A5 Support is a charitable organisation. We are not just a housing provider as we provide shelter and other services to help individuals to live successfully in the community. We deliver care, support and supervision to individuals in line with their needs.

We rehabilitate ex-offenders, victims of domestic violence, individuals misusing drug and alcohol , as well as homeless individuals with other support needs.

Our competent and caring support staff inspire and counsel individuals to build better lives and relationships to their optimum potential, or personal satisfaction, in supportive non-judgmental and anti-discriminatory environments. These enable them to develop the skills to live independently when they get their own home.

Team A5 Support devotes substantially the whole of its funds for charitable purposes and uses the majority of our funds for the purpose of providing housing accommodation.

The rate of homelessness that is being reported in media is alarming and as a charitable organisation, we are appalled by this and our aim is to shelter and support these vulnerable individuals in order to reduce pressure from the community at large.

The pressure on mental hospital beds is worsened due to acute shortage of community beds. Team A5 supported housing is helping to ease that pressure.

Number of people being released from prison with no place of aboard is distressing and most end up in the street embracing the extreme weather condition and crimes out there. They are very vulnerable, with some being victims of all sorts of crimes.

Our long-term goal is to be an established charity which can pride herself as being able to create a huge positive impact in supporting ex-offenders to refrain from re-offending, while working alongside with probation officers, local authorities, met police and our communities to reduce crime

Our aim is also to continue supporting people suffering from addictions, working with other organisations that provide drug and alcohol treatment while planning to establish our own drug and alcohol treatment program with available resources.
