The Marjolo 2023 Challenge 

£30,000 - 3000 miles - 274 days - 3 charities - 1 team...

Throughout 2023, Team Marjolo will be taking on a range of challenges in an attempt to collectively cover 3000 miles on foot, and raise £30,000 for three charities close to the hearts of our communities and our people.

The charities we will be raising money for this year are:

• Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity, the charity of Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, which is one of only three dedicated children’s hospital trusts in the UK and provides integrated healthcare for children and young people, including community and mental health care as well as acute and specialist services.

• Kicking for Change, a foundation created by The Combat Academy to support their young fight team realise their potential by competing at global events. This provides a vital community and environment for these youngsters, with no support from central sports funding, and supports The Combat Academy's mission to transform lives through martial arts.

• Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, who fund research to cure, treat and prevent the disorder, in an attempt to create a world where type 1 diabetes does not exist.

Our colleagues will be taking part in a variety of events in an attempt to hit our fundraising goals, including the Sheffield Half Marathon, Three Peaks, Great Manchester Run, and much, much more.

We are incredibly thankful and grateful for everything these charities do for us, and we look forward to fundraising on their behalf throughout 2023.
