Hwb Cymunedol Taj Mahal Community Hub is a multi-purpose community space created for the community by the community which opened in January 2023 to provide support to the communities of the Dyfi especially concerning energy, food, isolation and well being. We are planning activities offering training, opportunity, fun, sharing, talking, learning, creating, connecting and caring.

In December 2023 we refurbished the kitchen and now we need your help to buy some kitchen equipment - we want it to be the first community kitchen in Machynlleth, available on a pay what you can basis, supporting community projects like the Community Dinners and making the Hwb even more sustainable for the future.

We would like to buy equipment to be able to offer cooking workshops, offer the kitchen to small food businesses in the area, provide pop-up catering offerings, and cook the surplus food that we collect to be able to save more food from food waste.
