Assalamu Alaikum

Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W.) mentioned in a hadith reported by Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim, "Whosoever builds a masjid for Allah (SWT) , Allah (SWT) will reward him similar to it in paradise." This is good news for an investment that is guaranteed by Allah (SWT).

This masjid was initially founded in the 1980's by our close knit community elders some of whom have sadly passed away but never will be forgotten ;they strived tirelessly to establish a place of worship for the local muslims for the sake of Allah (SWT) and from small beginnings with funding from locals we have slowly progressed to what it is today. The building is in need of severe repair now as well as modifying it to a purpose built masjid to include better wudhu facilities, a bigger prayer hall, body wash and storage facility for the deceased as well as a separate ladies section. We need your help to complete this project as we are struggling to get the funds needed to finish this as soon as possible. Works have started but now funding is needed URGENTLY to get anywhere near completion. So I urge you to come forward and donate whatever you can.
Donating money to build a masjid for the sake of Allah (SWT) is a sadaqah jariah (charity), the reward will continue to reach the donor even after death. This which was mentioned by Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) in an authentic hadith.
