I've raised £2500 to Support 3 causes Maureen Terera Foundation, Campden Nurses and the Play Specialists at Worcester Children's Hospital

This time around I decided to wait till the 11th hour before starting the process of fund raising for causes that are dear to my heart (in case the training gets the best of me like last year, it nearly did but I am defiantly going to be at that start line). Since my admission to the London Marathon is a ballot place, I am free to elect the causes that I run for. The causes I have chosen are: First, The Play Specialists at Worcester Acute Hospital for supporting my then 2-year-old son in 2018 with toys and entertainment during our 6 week hospital stay while he recovered from a broken femur.
Second, Campden Nurses an independent charity based in Gloucestershire. Campden Nurses provide support and comfort to those with cancer or serious illness diagnosis. They supported families close to me with constant availability during difficult periods of loved ones being diagnosed with Cancer.
Third and final, The Maureen Terera Foundation, a charity I founded in memory of my late mother. The charity supports disabled children in Zimbabwe, the money raised will be used to ship essential sanitary and health care products which were donated to us by 4Steps to a Smile. These will be sent to selected deprived disabled communities in Zimbabwe.
If you would like your donation to go to a specific cause please let me know.
Your support is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
