Story
Kritoggo came up with a long term project that aims to help people from the root level. We named the project "Procheshta," which translates to constant endeavor. That’s exactly what Kritoggo has been doing since the last few months; relentlessly and constantly working on developing sustainable long-term projects to help those rendered helpless by natural disasters and those who find themselves vulnerable in the face of any form of abuse
We plan on executing it in three different phases:
📍Phase I : We aim to make essentials like food medicines and clean drinking water available by providing the flood victims with grocery packages.
📍Phase II: We plan on providing shelter for those who lost them. By supplying them with building materials, providing monetary aid, and rebuilding damaged houses, we aim to extend our help in any form necessary.
📍Phase III: Finally, we aim to provide the victims with a stable source of income. We are determined to support them in any way possible, whether it be by setting up a tea stall, buying a sewing machine or even replacing damaged equipment with new ones for farmers.
This project is launched in Sylhet, but we will slowly start working in other areas too. Kritoggo has been relentlessly and constantly working on developing sustainable long-term projects to help those rendered helpless by natural disasters and those who find themselves vulnerable in the face of any form of abuse.

2 years agoBegum Bibi, one of the beneficiaries of Procheshta, is a widow living with her 10 year old son. She currently works as a domestic help. During the flood, the part of her house got destroyed. As a single mother, it is hazardous for her to continue living there; they could be affected by heinous crimes or wild animal attacks. Through Procheshta, she was given tin and bamboo to reconstruct her home, and a goat (which is also expecting and ready to give birth). She will be selling goat milk and the goats once eligible, which will be her income.

2 years agoPhase II of Project Procheshta has begun, alhamdulillah. As we have been mentioning since the beginning, the work is far from over. The aftermath of the flood is not pretty, and that’s when we all should step in. During Phase II, we will focus on providing house repairing materials, one bundle of tin and wood/bamboo. The cost for one bundle bamboo/wood and Tin will be around 50 pounds. We urge all of our generous supporters to share this post and donate for this cause!

2 years ago2nd July 2022 Phase 1 of Procheshta continues in Sylhet. The trans community of Sylhet has been severely overlooked during this flooding disaster. When we interacted with them, they stated how this is the first help they have received from all the relief that has been going towards Sylhet, when in fact their houses are submerged under water too. Procheshta was launched to help everyone, regardless of their class, gender and age. Please step up and support our project to ensure aid reaches to everyone.
