I've raised £25000 to help fund the new day centre for the homeless of Swindon

10 years ago Swindon Night Shelter opened it’s doors in St Mary’s church to offer practical help and support to those homeless, lonely, vulnerable and in need in our town. Since then we have continued to grow and reach out to those in need. Since opening our Day centre and drop in two years ago we have been praying for a suitable place to continue to expnad our work and partner with other services to change the hearts and lives of those we care about. We have now through the provision of an unused building in our town by the borough council been given the oportunity to provide those living on the streets of Swindon with a safe, warm place to wash, eat, rest, recover and rebuild their lives. The building is not ideal and needs a lot of work and regeneration we are a small charity looking to grow to meet the needs of those coming to us for help. Please help us to reach our target so that we can apply for grants and match funding to make this a lastimg and sustainable change in the lives of those we seek to serve.
