I've raised £400 to help the advocacy work of hundredfamilies.org, advocacy after fatal domestic abuse, and action again medical accidents

Well this is 'take' two as I forgot to extend the 120 day timescale on my page so it closed on 9 July! so to reach my target I need to re-launch my appeal. Advocating for families who have lost loved ones, and advocating for patients who have been harmed by care is an essential component of patient safety and public safety. It is also sometimes the only way families who have experienced harm via fatal domestic abuse, mental health homicide or clinical misadventure can get open and honest answers to their questions. Therefore I am undertaking a series of open water swims this season to try and raise funds for their vital work, and will split the money between them. So far I have completed my first ever 10K event, on 10 June - The Jubilee River Swim. My remaining challenges are, the Rutland water 4K, Lake Conistion 5.25 miles, and the hurly-burly 10K swim in Snowdonia. I do hope you can spare the cost of a 'take out' coffee, a beer or a wine to help.
Thank you in advance, every little helps and it is greatly appreciated
