🌊💙 Cross the Channel for Nicky Community Swim Challenge 💙🌊 to go towards the goal of £80,000

The aim is for all of us to swim or walk or cycle the distance of the English channel and "reach France in miles" added together. Nicky herself along with her dog Merlin will be aiming to swim 1,000m a month in the cold sea ❄️ 🥶 🇬🇧➡️🇫🇷. The Channel is 34 km wide… so we need your help and invite the whole community to join in and help us to France” this winter to help Nicky get the curative treatment she needs for a rare form of Cancer! ❄️
We also welcome people to walk, organise dog walks or cycle if that's more your thing!

✔ Swim anywhere – sea, indoor/outdoor pool, cold-water dips. You can also walk/hike/wheelchair miles.
✔ Log your distance (metres/kilometres) or time if you are bobbing.
✔ When you make your entry donation/pledge on this page leave a comment with this logged distance so that we can include it along with your donation
✔ Actively raise funds by sharing this page onto your socials, email the link to friends/family and business colleagues to gather further sponsorship to reach both your personal set goal and contribute towards the overall team total

Every swim or walk counts – whether it’s 50m in the pool or 5 km in the sea or on land. Together, we’ll make it all the way across. Or even a bob in and out of water will be most excellent - we want to be inclusive of all swimming capabilities.

💙 Gather further sponsorship (suggested donations from supporters £25)

All funds raised go directly to support Nicky's curative cancer treatment — not currently funded by the NHS but are available privately.
