Story

Kev and Ian are the local Police Community Ward Officers for SWF Villages and were devastated to see the damage caused by a fire to Cairneyhill Primary School on Friday 8th December 2017.

This affected everyone in the local community and Cairenyhill PS is a great example of a community school.

Both officers want to help the children / community and on the 1st January 2018 (their first rest day of the year) they will be taking part in the breakfast dip at Limekilns.

It will be cold, wet and both officers are hoping, not snowing! They will have their swimmers and goggles ready to enter the water after a backshift on 31st December 2017.

2018 is the year of the young people and what better way to start than by supporting the children and community of Cairneyhill Primary School who have shown great spirit in supporting each other.

Limekilns Breakfast Dip takes place at 1400 hours on the 1st January 2018 and all participants pay a fee to help support the rebuilding of the local pier. Local Scout groups will also be there to sell hot rolls and hopefully a hot cuppa after being in the Forth.

If you could spare any donations all money will be given to the Parent Council of Cairneyhill Primary School to allow them to allocate the funds.
