Childcare Kenya has developed a programme- Rise up Now- in order to provide a better future for 10,000 children in Kenya in the coming year. Rise up now was created in order to create a difference via education at the age where it can make a fundamental difference in determining a direction of a childs life, their family and community. This programme currently reaches 200 children a week but with extra help from this walking challenge these donations would reach even more children.

I'm challenging myself to walk 300+ km's with just my backpack on to help raise funds for the Rise Up Now programme as I feel passionalte about children having access to continued education.

Children who are strong and firm in life are better able to hold their own, set boundaries, treat each other respectfully and take their own initiative, providing the essential foundation for learning and developing social-emotional skills which benefit not only the children but their families and communities as well. https://kenyachildcare.nl/en/rise-up-now/
