I've raised £1000 to Support the Burnt Chef Project

Story
On October 4th 2022, I will be joining in with teams from other Brunning and Price pubs and the Burnt Chef Project, to raise money and awareness for those struggling with their Mental Health within the hospitality industry.
The hospitality industry is such a great sector to work in. We work closely alongside many people, and are a part of their lives, giving people fantastic memories that will last a lifetime.
As much as we all love what we do, working within the industry can be very challenging and subsequently, a great number of staff struggle mentally and physically. We want to help shine a light on those struggles and do what we can to help.
The Burnt Chef Project is committed to helping those struggling and eradicating the stigma of mental health within the hospitality industry.
Whether it be by having somebody to talk to at 1am after a tough shift, or by training us managers to recognise when somebody is not okay, and provide mental health first aid.
Through training and counselling we are working making the hospitality profession healthier and more sustainable by focussing on people's wellbeing first.
Not content with a small challenge of climbing Snowdon just the once (which is a fantastic achievement on it's own), we are aiming to climb it 3 times in a day!
Snowdon has 6 main routes, and we are going to walk each of them within 24hrs. Covering some 24 miles and ascend about 3000 metres.
Challenge accepted....game on!
