Story
Mothers on Sinjar mountain have no access to ante-natal care! Babies and mothers are dying in childbirth, avoidable disabilities and complications are common. Please help us provide safe and regular monitoring and classes to these desperately vulnerable women who have NO access to healthcare and female medics. There are approximately 50,000 Yezidis on Sinjar mountain with roughly 10,000 women of childbearing age, last year approximately 1,000 babies were born. These mothers have no access to contraception or adequate hygiene and there is no surgical facility for emergencies and no blood bank or blood analysis. We are determined to provided midwives who will be able to provide support , monitoring and advice and regular antenatal classes Please help us achieve this! Thank you <3
