I've raised £5000 to help The Mono Box's future supporting the personal, professional and social development of emerging artists.

We are pleased you are considering making a donation here to help support The Mono Box's future.
The Mono Box is a vibrant, welcoming community dedicated to continuous actor training in the broadest terms. Its USP is its library of over 3500 plays donated by industry professionals, and its power is its connection to leading practitioners with unique skills to offer in stage, screen, improvisation, dance, mindfulness and anything else related to making theatre.
The Mono Box empowers actors in what can seem like a daunting industry. Everyone is welcome - whatever their age, background, whether they have trained or not. It is a safe space where anyone can work on their craft, make work and feel a part of something greater than themselves.
In providing opportunities in both theatre and film and creating a dialogue between the professional world and those who are emerging into it, The Mono Box participants have earned places at accredited drama schools, booked jobs and had the confidence to continue in their creativity. By responding to the needs of the people it helps, The Mono Box is full of passion, honesty and possibility

Over the last four years The Mono Box has:
• Welcomed over 4000 actors through its doors
• Collected a unique play library full of personal anecdotes and advice from directors, playwrights, actors and publishers
• Created a dialogue between the professional world and those who are emerging into it through workshops and talks
• Provided free theatre tickets and travel opportunities for those able to afford experiences themselves
• Provided a support network, a safe space and a community
Following the success of last year's inaugural PLAYSTART, this year we received over 700 applications, for just 26 places on the scheme. The reach and interest of PLAYSTART shows how important the work of The Mono Box is.
We need your help to keep supporting this pool of young talent beyond this event; to support the people still trying and to engage those who need us.
