Samboards Ltd, a UK-based company that designs and manufactures specialist sensory products for people with complex disabilities. We have collaborated with Aid for Ukraine Gloucestershire to support children and young adults with special educational needs in Ukraine.

Our Collaboration: We've been generously donating sensory products to refugees in Ukraine through our partnership with Aid for Ukraine Gloucestershire. So far, we have provided a range of products, including sensory libraries and SATPIN boards, to two orphanages and a rehabilitation center. These products are specifically designed to reduce anxiety, manage stress, and improve focus for individuals with diverse needs, such as ADHD, autism, stress, anxiety, dementia, and Alzheimer’s.

Our Donations: The sensory libraries and SATPIN boards have been well-received by the recipients. Unlike fidget spinners, our products feature different textures that trigger the release of the feel-good hormone dopamine while creating neural pathways in the brain. The SATPIN board, in particular, enhances English language learning for younger children, making it more enjoyable and engaging.

Within 3 days of receiving the items they were delivered to two orphanages & a rehabilitation centre for children and young adults with complex disabilities in Ukraine. They have so far really enjoyed using them, thanks to Andy's knowledge. We were able to identify the best products to suit the needs of the recipients. Every child had a tile, plus 3 sensory pads per establishment & a Satpin board for the rehabilitation centre where some are learning English too."
