In the northern Gaza Strip, a mother and her three children—Ghazal, Yamen, and little Ahed—are facing unimaginable loss. Once, their home was filled with the warmth and love of a complete family, but after October 7th, their world was shattered.

Hunger, fear, and devastation now define their daily lives. With food in short supply and the children desperate for even a single meal, their father went out to search for aid, hoping to bring back enough flour to feed his family. Tragically, he never returned. Killed while trying to provide for his children, his body was brought back home—his blood mixed with the flour he had tried to secure for them.

Now, these children are without their father’s love and support, and their mother is left to care for them alone, struggling to meet even their most basic needs. The loss is more than just emotional; it has taken away the family’s ability to survive in an already dire situation. They are facing extreme hunger, the destruction of their home, and the constant fear that the war will claim even more.
