My names Daniel Vickers and I started working for my current employer 12 months ago, the job is awesome and all the staff here are all friends. About 2 months ago my manager, the one who makes everyone smile on days where theres nothing to smile about.

He received the worst new's possible and news that no one ever wishes to hear, he had cancer both in his bowel and his liver. Fortunately the doctors said that they have caught it just before it would be deadly so it is treatable however, there is still a 50/50 chance that it works.

Currently he has successfully had the cancer removed from his liver and is now on chemotherapy as they hope it will shrink the cancer in his bowl. Fighting with cancer requires a spirit that is so so strong from both yourself and the people around you as you empower each other to get through it all.

But today we received some horrible news...

My manger had spent the previous night at his parents as you like to be with family during such a time. He returned home today to be completely soul destroyed... he had been burgled and everything had been taken.

As if it isn't hard enough to stay strong through the fight against cancer itself, today he has been hit with an even stronger mental battle. Not only does he have to fight cancer he now has to do so with next to nothing, when I heard the news I was mortified at who would do such a thing to someone so vulnerable.

It's disgusting and I feel terrible for him and I want to find a way to help him as much as i can, this is why I'm reaching out to society. More than ever he needs our support to get though this even tougher time, I am asking that if you can spare a £1 or even more than you do so.
