In April 2019, we all received the most awful news, that George, at just 7 months old, was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. A rare form of children cancer.

after numerous tests, scans and biopsy, they discovered the only way of battling this awful disease was by chemotherapy treatment. Due to the size and position of the cancer, it was, and still is inoperable.

George rang his end of treatment bell, but the battle was far from over. He was placed on a 'wait and watch' system, where by they would carry out tests and scans every 3 months to monitor the cancer.

In July 2020 Georges scans came back with more upsetting news. The cancer was not only still there, but more inoperable tumours were found... George is now a stage 4, high risk, neuroblastoma patient, and his fight continues.
George has reached round 14 of his chemo treatment and it is still a huge journey ahead, with more treatment, searching for options for George and possible trips to other hospitals.

The support along the way so far, and all those that have followed Georges journey so far, we can't thank you enough, and I know I speak on behalf of georges family, it is greatly appreciated...

however... we need to continue the support and we would all be so grateful if you could all too.

Unfortunately as a family they have not been able to do the Disney trip we fundraised for, due to Georges condition, however the money is in a secure account ready for the day he is allowed to travel that distance. But until then, Sian and Martyn have a list of things that they would like to do with George and his sisters in the UK when lockdown is lifted and things slowly normalise, but until then the ongoing supplies and special equipment that George needs continues.
