This unique marathon takes place on the frozen Pangong Lake in Ladakh, India, at an altitude of 4,273 meters (14,000 feet), making it one of the world's highest and most challenging races.

Extinction Rebellion is a global movement dedicated to combating the climate and ecological crisis through non-violent civil disobedience. Their mission to prompt urgent action on environmental issues aligns with the marathon's emphasis on environmental awareness and preservation.
