We are Manaaki Healthcare and we have an incredible lady who is turning 108 years old. We are working with Classic Mobility to make a real difference to Dorothy's quality of life.

Dorothy was born in 1916 and worked incredibly hard all her life - initially working on a farm and providing rations for those who did not have food. At 108 Dorothy is still very independent and keeps her spirits high, she sings to keep herself company and has a strength about her that is just inspiring to see.

Dorothy is unable to get to bed so she sleeps in her chair which does not recline and is also very low. As it's her birthday soon, we are trying to raise funds to help her sleep comfortable in a pressure controlled recliner sofa. This will help Dorothy getting in and out of her chair, and also help her find a comfortable way of sleeping as well as limiting her risk of getting pressure sores from being in one place to long.

For a lady who has looked after others in incredibly hard times we ask you to help us support her now. Please if you can donate anything to this incredible cause we would all be so grateful. Dorothy is one of only a handful in the UK to reach this amazing age so please help us help her life her life as comfortable as she deserves.
