James Goolnik, Richard O'Brien and Mark Vardon are competing in their first Tough Mudder on 16th September. That's 12 miles of mud and obstacles!

They are working with Jamie Olivers team at Sugar Smart https://www.sugarsmartuk.org to help raise the awareness of eating too much sugar.

Extracting decayed teeth is the most common reason children are given a general anesthetic in the United Kingdom and while everyday we hear of a decline in the incidence of most diseases, this is not case for tooth decay in children, as the number of decayed teeth extracted in children under general aesthetic has increased by more than 24% in the last 10 years. there is little doubt damage to teeth caused by sugar in foods targeted at children is a growing problem that sugar smart are proactively addressing. Getting the activity pack out to the local schools around here will help children and parents make better food choices

The funds raised will help deliver a sugar awareness pack to every primary school child in the City of London. The pack will contain a toothbrush, toothpaste, stickers and an activity pack, along with a lesson plan to help start the sugar debate.
