Story
Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page which has been set up to raise funds for Velindre Cancer Centre.
In February of next year (2020) a small group of us will take on an incredibly difficult challenge - attempting to traverse a marathon length route through the Sub-Arctic region.
The support team has been assessed and assembled and the pulk sleds have been booked. All we need now is a bit of support from our wonderful community, and any amount you can spare would help do wonderful things for cancer sufferers throughout Wales.
As usual we're doing this in support of Velindre Cancer Hospital in Cardiff and as usual our efforts are in support of my own loss anyone who's had to struggle against the challenges set by this sneaky, cowardly disease.
We're tough and we're up for this, and cruelty is our motivator. Every one of us has been touched in some way by cancer, either directly or through friends, family, colleagues...loved ones. It's the cruellest of diseases.
We're taking it on though. We'll be in it's face for 5 hard days. If you can't join us please support us.
Thanks. Simon and the team x
