Story

Lee, Sarah, Hannah, Claire and I fancied a challenge so we decided to give the Yorkshire Three Peaks a go. Its a 25-mile circular walk consisting of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough which needs to be completed in less than 12 hours. The date is set for Saturday 12th June and we are hoping to raise over £2000 for our fabulous village school - Sturton Le Steeple C of E Primary School (Registered charity no. 1087464).

Head Teacher Mark Elliott provided the comments below.

"Any money raised will go towards extending the IT provision across school which is supporting the school to develop new ways of teaching and learning. The school already has Chromebooks for each KS2 child, but would like to extend this further down school. A hybrid mix of independent learning, facilitated by the class teacher, as well as quality face to face teaching, will help us move to a new and improved way of delivering our curriculum in school.

Good luck and a massive thank you to the explorers and to you for donating to our cause".
