Story

The Royal Navy Clearance Divers Association

Charity (Charity number: 1190371) plays a vital role in supporting both serving and former members of the Navy's diving branch. The Clearance Diving Branch are the Royal Navy's elite bomb disposal operators, they have carried out explosive disposal tasks in every conflict since their formation in 1952. The Association, through their generous grants, provide essential funding for assisted living, repatriation of deceased members, and help with funeral costs.

This August, I am embarking on an incredible journey by participating in 'The Great Norse Run,' a challenging 209-mile run across the breathtaking landscapes of Iceland, from North to South. This means I will be running a marathon each day for nine consecutive days.

My goal is to raise £209, which equates to just £1 per mile of this remarkable adventure.
