I am a lifelong Oldham Athletic fan, my family have gone back generations supporting this club, I was first taken in 1975 by my late father, late uncles and my older brother. Since then I have seen us play in the premier league, Cup finals and numerous semi finals and my family of fans now consists of nephews and nieces who also fell in love with the club.

Sadly the club has suffered the fate of dropping out of the football league and this has broken many hearts, to see the demise of this once respected and very popular community football club has been well reported over the last few weeks and months.

Our owner is a man called Abdallah Lemsagam who is based in Dubia and has overseen this demise through a catologue of bad decisions both on and off the pitch. He has said he is willing to sell but this seems to be disputed by some as he has been knowhere near the club for a long time, choosing to stay in Dubia whilst the club falls into non league.
We could possibly go bust if we don't get new owners quickly as no money is being put into the club by the owner.

Our fans trust ( Oasf ) and another fan group ( PTB ) are speaking with certain people to invest and these groups are also trying to raise a fund to hopefully acquire the ground as our owner does not own it nor the land. If the fans trust can raise enough money to buy the ground and land this could be the start of better times and give would be investors an easier route in as Mr Lemsagam is asking silly money for what he owns, which is only the badge.

I can only imagine what my dad would be feeling to see the state of this club now, he would feel the same as me, heartbroken.

I wish to contribute to this fundraising and I hope any football fan or anyone who has heard of Oldham Athletic could offer any amount to help me raise a sum of money I can pass on to our trust ( Oasf ) and help build an amount which may help us rescue our club.
