A team of 8 of us will be taking part in Trailwalker in September. Trailwalker is 100km across the South Downs Way over some horrible hills and tough terrain. That is hard enough, but we have decided to try and become the first people to complete it with a stretcher and mannequin. We will be in boots and military kit trying to raise much needed funds for Veterans Coastal Retreats, an organisation in the process of setting up as a registered charity by The Running Guardsman.
We have already completed the Fleet Half Marathon and the Salisbury Marathon with it and know how tough it will be but want to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic cause in their aim of buying a property in Cornwall to support Veterans and their families.
