Story

On Sunday the 18th of March I was supposed to be running my first ever half marathon at the Weston Super Half in Weston-super-Mare to raise funds to buy some very needed outdoor play equipment for St. Philips Marsh Nursery School in Bristol. Unfortunately the race was cancelled due to snow, but i will complete the half marathon distance in the next few weeks - watch this space!

St Philips Marsh Nursery school is a wonderful, lively and inclusive Local Authority pre-school and nursery close to the heart of Bristol. It is run by a committed, knowledgeable, creative and caring team of teachers, nursery nurses and senior leaders who work tirelessly to provide the children with a fun and exciting early education. Unfortunately recent Government cuts to the nursery's budget have left them unable to pay for essential updating of play equipment in their outdoor area. The nursery staff and parents of children who attend are working hard to find ways of raising the money needed.

My little boy attends St Philips. He is always excited to go and has developed into a confident and independent four year old who loves to learn. I want to give back and say thank you. So please help us to raise some of the money needed by digging deep to sponsor me to run my very first half marathon and support this worthy cause!
