Story
This is our son “Storm”, known to many of you by his stage name “Stormageddon”.
In September he will be 7 years old and in all those years he has never had what his grandparents would call a “PROPER” haircut.
Well all that is about to change.
He has decided that he wants short hair and, (although we will most probably shed a tear or two as it happens) it is his choice. and we, as his parents, must respect his decision.
He has also decided that his long locks should go to The Little Princess Trust WWW.littleprincesses.org.uk
A wonderful charity that give away free real hair wigs to children that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other illnesses (a beautiful, simple yet life enhancing concept).
He also wants you to sponsor his haircut, so that he can split the money raised between the following good causes;
We have a strain of Muscular Dystrophy in our family, so it is a cause that is close to all our hearts.
The Anne Harris Children's Fund
A wonderful small charity who not only helped to fund dads work in conflict zones but has also generously agreed to fund a car hoist needed to lift Storm’s cousin (who suffers from muscular dystrophy) into their car. Thereby enabling family days out as well as every day things like the school run.
March 2nd Beavers
Storm is a member of this beaver pack and wants to “give something back” in return for all the fun times.
We fully realize that, in these times of austerity, not all of you can afford sponsorship. If that is the case, then you can still help simply by spreading the word amongst your friends. Just copy this post to your timeline and/or add it to any pages and groups you belong too. That way you’ll be helping make our sons wish to help others a truly global event.
The haircut will be taking place at “The Ancient Oak medieval fair" in Quy Park, Stow Road, CB25 9AF Stow cum Quy on the 2nd of September 2018 and it would be wonderful if you could come along and show your support.
Neither mum or dad want him to have a haircut, but we are both incredibly proud of his wish to use it to help others so please, help make the tears we will shed worthwhile, either via sponsoring him, spreading the word, or both.
Yours respectfully
(and immensely proudly)
Mum and Dad

6 years agoSo the deed has been done. Storms golden locks are no more. Never again shall he play rapunzel. So far he has helped raise over £1000 via just giving and traditional forms of sponsorship. To all of you (to many to mention) Storm and us say thank you. If you haven't donated yet but would like to, then you still can, either here or in person. But that's not the only way you can help, you can help just by sharing a link to this page via sosial media, or simply just by telling friends and family. However you help we give you our deepest thanks
