Did you know as a faith school we have to fund part of our annual school budget ourselves? At a time when schools across BCBC face a 5% budget cut this year and every year until 2021, this is becoming ever more challenging. The Friends of St Marys School (our PTA) are trying to make up this shortfall by raising money any way we can. So the Friends, staff, parents and even the little legs of the pupils are completing a sponsored walk to the 886m summit of South Wales’ highest mountain, Pen y Fan, on Saturday May 11th 2019. If you can help in anyway we would be very greatful as even the smallest donation could make a world of difference to our children!
