We are delighted to be able to share with you that our new library has been installed over half term! The children are so excited! We are very happy with the library and we know it will have such a positive impact on our children’s learning. Reading is at the heart of our school and we want to continue to instil a love and passion for reading in all children.

With this in mind, we would like to ask our parents if they would like to make a voluntary donation towards the cost of new books for our new library. A donation towards the cost of new books, would be incredibly generous and helpful for our children.

We want our children to enjoy our new library and the more money we can raise to stock it full of rich texts, the better the learning experiences for our children. New books are extremely expensive, each new books costing between £6-9. A new library stock could cost us up to £10,000. Any donation, no matter how small, towards the cost of new books for our children’s new library would be much appreciated.

The children will gain so much from new rich and diverse texts and we cannot have a new library without the books for them to enjoy.
