Story

Rea Valley Methodist Church is a multi-site church in rural Shropshire. We are re-fitting one of our chapels to use as housing for a Ukrainian refugee family

Work is underway to provide 3 bedrooms and and improve the hot water system. There is already a serviceable kitchen and shower, so we are installing a hot water tank to replace the current over-sink water heaters and putting in a washing machine. Lighting will need to be re-worked for the new rooms, and the new home will need fitting out. Money is being set aside for running costs. If you'd like to help us, please donate!

Alterations to our building are almost complete and we are in touch with a Ukrainian family who are in need of somewhere. The process of completing the necessary legalities has begun...

Our initial target of £500 has been reached - many thanks to all those who have helped us. I hope to be able to post more pictures and give an update on our progress very soon
