I'm raising £1000 to support the Neonatal Unit at Wishaw General Hospital

Story

I don't hide my "why" for running. Nova was born 12-weeks early and as a little 2lbs 9oz bundle of skin and bones, she spent the first 67 days of her life in the care of the Neonatal Unit at Wishaw General Hospital. She smashed every challenge put in front of her and made me wonder what I could do if I applied myself.

Three years later her brother Ruairidh was born and so as not to feel left out, he decided to have a brief spell in the Neonatal unit too.

If it wasn't for the doctors and nurses in the unit, I wouldn't have the family I do today.

Over the next six months I'm taking on the West Highland Way Triple Crown and aiming to complete all three races on the WHW in the same calendar year: -

26th Apr - Devil o' the Highlands (Tyndrum to Fort William 42mi)

21st June - WHW Race (Milingavie to Fort William 95mi)

20th Sept - Highland Fling -(Milingavie to Tynndrum 53mi)

Nova knows that I previously raised money for the unit by running a 50k and asked if I was doing it again with my "big races" this year, so that is what I've decided to do. As with last time, I will be making sure that any money raised goes directly to support the staff within the unit. Anything that you can give would be greatly appreciated!
