Steve Devlin is one of the most popular players to have played in the colours of Poole Town FC. He was signed in January 2012 from Dorchester Town since which time he has made 313 appearances for the Club and scored 95 goals. One of those goals struck from the halfway line against Truro on 7th October 2014, has had around 7,500 views on You Tube.

Regrettably Steve (a self-employed painter and decorator) suffered the injury that all footballers dread namely a torn cruciate ligament, the injury occurring during a Southern League fixture at home to Salisbury City on Saturday 29th December. Steve has a wife and young family to support.

The cost of a private operation is prohibitive. The recovery process after a successful operation is long and arduous.
